Data we collect

We process account information such as name, email address, profile details, roles, plan and credit history, support messages, and authentication records. We also process release metadata, contributor and split information, rights and AI disclosures, ISRC and UPC data, selected stores, territories, uploaded audio and artwork, delivery status events, promotional requests, sync briefs, video orders, and usage or security logs.

Payout and royalty information

Stripe handles connected-account onboarding, identity verification, tax information, and bank or payout details. MYDistribution stores the Stripe connected account identifier, country, currency, readiness flags, requirements status, and transfer references. MYDistribution does not store the full bank routing number or account number collected by Stripe.

We process royalty statement lines, store, territory, ISRC, units, gross earnings, fees, net earnings, availability dates, payout status, and audit references needed to prevent duplicates and reconcile transfers.

How we use data

We use information to authenticate users, build and validate releases, issue unique ISRCs, deliver music to selected stores, document rights and AI participation, create signed delivery links, provide status updates, calculate and transfer verified earnings, prevent fraud and duplicate payments, fulfill service orders, support users, secure the platform, and comply with legal or processor requirements.

Storage and sharing

Release assets are stored in private cloud storage and shared with the delivery rail through time-limited signed URLs. Information is shared only as needed with service providers such as authentication, database, storage, distribution, payment, email, AI, analytics, and infrastructure vendors, or when required by law, safety, fraud prevention, rights enforcement, or a valid legal process.

AI processing

When you use AI intake or generation features, the text, audio, or other content needed for that request may be processed by the configured AI provider. Do not upload confidential information or content you are not authorized to process.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the account, maintain release and payment records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet contractual or legal obligations, and protect platform integrity. We use access controls, row-level security, private storage, server-only credentials, audit records, signed URLs, and processor-hosted payout onboarding, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your controls

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible account information. Some release, transaction, rights, tax, fraud-prevention, or audit records may need to be retained. Contact the privacy address below for requests not available in the dashboard.
